Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the J.F. Friedrick Center (608-231-1341) on the Madison campus (a 15-20 minute walk or short bus ride to the Mathematics Department) for $62 (single) or $72 (double) plus tax per night and at the University Inn (608-257-4881), 441 N. Francis St (a 10-15 minute walk to the Department) for $79 a night, single or double room. The blocks will be held until August 25, 2001.
